On the morning of July 15, 2022, the 17th China Young Women Scientists Award Ceremony was held in Beijing, a total of 20 female scientists and 5 teams won the award, and another 5 doctoral candidates or postdoctors were selected for the Future Women Scientists Program. Professor Yu Qian won the China Young Female Scientist Award.
The evaluation committee of this year's China Young Women Scientists Award is composed of 46 members, including 38 academicians. In the case of a substantial increase in the number of nominating units and candidates, the evaluation highlights the orientation of supporting major national strategic needs, pays attention to the evaluation of innovative value and ability to contribute, and pays attention to the scientists working in the front line of scientific research.
