In order to further strengthen the safety awareness of the laboratory, improve the safety quality and emergency response ability of all teachers and students, and create a safe, healthy and environment-friendly laboratory environment, on June 19th, our hospital took the “Laboratory Public Open Day” activity as an opportunity to carry out various publicity, visit learning activities and cross examination of hazardous chemicals laboratories.
First of all, Pi Xiaodong, deputy secretary of the college Party committee, briefly introduced the main contents of the activity to the teachers and students, emphasized the importance of laboratory safety management, and issued the activity requirements.
At the same time, the three fold publicity materials of “Key Points of Laboratory Safety” were distributed, focusing on the safety rules of experimental operation, and popularizing the safety knowledge of chemical use and storage. After that, the teacher should arrange excellent laboratory visit and cross examination activities. The college selects 15 excellent laboratories for hazardous chemicals management in each Research Institute, which are open to teachers and students of the whole college. Through organizing visits and learning, it promotes mutual learning and learning from each other among laboratories.
In addition, this laboratory safety month has also arranged special training and publicity lectures on laboratory safety, in order to arouse people’s attention to laboratory safety issues through a series of publicity, learning, inspection and other activities, and promote the creation of a better scientific research, learning, living and working environment.
