At 19:00 p.m. on March 30th, 2020, the Department of Materials’ 2019-2020 academic year “Quality Training Program for College Students (SQTP)” project reply exchange meeting was successfully held through online video conference. Mr. Chen Qiang, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee of the school of materials, Mr. Wan Shiqi, Mr. Yi Yang, deputy secretary of the temporary Youth League Committee, and the leaders and team members of each SQTP team participated in the defense through the nailing platform. First of all, Mr. Chen Qiang made a brief introduction to the college students’ quality training project, interpreted and explained the theme scope and practical significance of the project, and put forward expectations for the students to carry out activities and work in the next stage.
The six defense teams from the four grades of the college conducted five minutes of PPT presentation and three minutes of question exchange. The students’ projects cover a comprehensive range and rich content, from focusing on personal ability to promoting the construction of student organizations, from caring about the study and life of materials students to the natural science popularization for the whole school students, and from inside and outside the campus to the theme of epidemic prevention and control, showing the comprehensive vision and responsibility of materials students. The reply of the six persons in charge was well prepared and organized. During the question and exchange session, the teachers and students put forward many useful improvement measures and suggestions for the project, and friendly exchanges and communication were conducted among the teams.

Mr. Chen Qiang encouraged the students to seize the opportunity of the quality training project, improve their comprehensive quality, help the common development of the students around them, and strive to do a good job in the progress of the team project. He expressed his expectation for the students’ achievements, and hoped that the students’ project work could go smoothly at the present stage and after returning to school.
