In order to respond to the activities for the construction of excellent academic style in the academic year of 2020-2021, the Student Union of the School of MSE organized a communication and discussion meeting on the application for studying abroad under the new situation on November 27, 2020, and invited two outstanding Stanford students to share their valuable experience with everyone, and more than 50 students from all grades in the college attended the forum.

Firstly, Fan Qingyuan introduced to the students what it was like while studying abroad from his own study and life during the epidemic.

Hu Yi provided several suggestions, emphasizing to students the importance of confirming their direction as early as possible and making sure to prepare early, as well as emphasizing the importance of academic performance, providing some advice on personal course scheduling, and recommending students to communicate more with experienced students.
