Abstract
Photocatalytic technology is considered to be one of the most promising technologies to solve the energy problem. The development of new and efficient photocatalytic materials is the key to the practical application of this technology. Hydrotalcite based nanostructured materials have become a research hotspot in the field of photocatalysis due to their adjustable electronic structure and low price. In the past three years, our research team has enhanced the adsorption and activation of reactants such as CO2 by introducing defect structures on the surface of hydrotalcite to increase the active sites, thus enhancing the catalytic activity. In addition, by constructing the interfacial active sites, the reaction path of the intermediate species is regulated, so as to realize the highly selective synthesis of high value-added products.
Brief introduction of the Lecturer
Zhang tierui, researcher and doctoral supervisor of Institute of physical and chemical technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Bachelor of chemistry, Jilin University (1994-1998), doctor of organic chemistry, Jilin University (1998-2003). After that, postdoctoral research was conducted in Germany (2003-2004), Canada (2004-2005) and the United States (2005-2009). At the end of 2009, he returned to China and was employed as a researcher in the “100 Talents Program” of the Institute of physical and chemical technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published more than 180 SCI papers in Adv. Mater. Angew. Chem. JACS and other journals, and has been cited more than 12000 times with H index of 60. He has been selected as “global highly cited scientist” of korui Weian in 2018 and 2019. He has applied for 44 national invention patents (26 have been authorized), and made more than 30 invited reports at international conferences. He was elected a member of the Royal Society of chemistry in 2017. He has won many awards, such as outstanding youth of NSFC, senior Newton scholar of royal society, Humboldt scholar fund of Germany, and Outstanding Youth Award in solar photochemistry and photocatalysis. He is also the associate editor of science bullet and the editorial board member of Advanced Energy Materials, Scientific Reports, Materials Chemistry Frontiers, ChemPhysChem, Solar RRL, Carbon Energy and other journals. He is now a member of the Standing Committee of the Youth Work Committee of the Chinese Society for materials research, vice chairman of the photocatalysis Committee of the Chinese photosensitive society, and member of the young workers Committee of the Chinese chemical society.
