Lecturer: Researcher Wu Haobin
Dr. Wu Haobin is a candidate of the youth program of the national high level talents program and a researcher of the “100 Talents Program” of Zhejiang University. He graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Fudan University in 2010. In April 2015, he received his doctorate from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore, and then went to UCLA for postdoctoral research. In 2017, he joined the school of materials science and engineering of Zhejiang University. From 2017 to 2019, he was selected as one of the world’s highly cited scientists in materials and chemistry. Now he is the editor of Matter, young editor of Chem and editor of IMaterials Today Sustainability.
The contents of this meeting includes: (I) The basic principle and material design principle of electrochemical energy storage and conversion technology are introduced, including various secondary cells, fuel cells and electrocatalysis technology. (II) The design ideas and preparation methods of several electrochemical energy materials and devices, such as high power ion capacitors, high specific energy lithium metal batteries, fuel cells and carbon dioxide electrocatalytic reduction, are introduced. (III) New technologies, new challenges and the key role of new materials in the future clean energy utilization are discussed.
