The College continues to promote cooperation with overseas first-class universities to carry out diversified overseas exchange programs. Overseas travel has been suspended this year due to a global outbreak. In order to enable undergraduates to continue to experience all-English courses overseas and develop an international academic horizon, the College has collaborated with the University of Illinois-Urban-Champaign to offer customized summer online courses Electronic Materials for Computing and Energy Application for our institution.
From August 14 to September 26, 2020, the Materials Institute, in cooperation with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will launch the 2020 Electronic Materials Summer Online Exchange Program. Through a combination of lectures, panel discussions, subject reading and academic guidance, the exchange of practice and research in the field of electronic materials from the world's top universities was shared, and a total of 76 undergraduates from the Institute of Materials participated in the program, which received a warm response.

This summer program is divided into reading week and lecture week two stages, the first stage is led by the doctoral students of the University of Iraq teaching assistants to carry out material reading and lectures and answer questions. The second stage is a course on electronic materials, taught by Professor Qing Cao of the University of Iraq, in which students complete and present the project in groups.
