At 18:30 on Jan. 14th, 2019, 2019 New Year Party and 2018 Annual Commendation Conference  of the School of Materials were held as scheduled. 

Academician Ze Zhang, Dean Ronghan Gao, Party Secretay Yanhui Liu celebrated new year with all students. More than one thousand students gathered together and enjoyed the wonderful audiovisual feast.

Dean Han delivered his speech and new year blessing. He, together with guests, alumni, students and staff, reviewed history of the School of Materials from 1978 to 2018. The school of Materials made a great development through the forty years. Faced with the coming 2019, Dean Han hoped every one to “go through every day with happiness, live for more than 100 years.”

The excellent results that the School of Materials achieved, were based on efforts of both students and teachers. Under the festive and cheerful background music, the conference entered the 2018 awards session, reviewing the past and summing up the past for a better future. Standing at the new starting point of the new era, the School of Materials will interpret a more exciting 2019.

After the awards session, programs of the party began. Rumer, the dance, My Dream, the song, True Hero, the chorus and many other wonderful programs delivered cheer and smile to audience. As the host said “Good night”, this party finished perfectly.
