主讲人简介:

Rozgonyi 教授:Professor George Rozgonyi received his PhD degree from University of Arizona in 1963. After working at AT&T Bell for 19 years, he joined the North Carolina State University as a professor at department ofMaterials Science and Engineering. In 1981, he received Electrochemical Society Award For advancing our fundamental understanding of defects in semiconductor device processing", and currently is a fellow of Electrochemical Society. Rozgonyi's interests include Defect engineering of silicon for integrated circuit (IC) and photovoltaic (PV) applications, impurity control via intrinsic and extrinsic gettering processes, point defect/extended defect dynamics, including mechanical properties/processes related to wafer breakage. In semiconductor field, he has published more than 400 papers and presented numerous invited lectures at international conferences.

陈坤基教授:南京大学物理系教授、博士生导师。“国家重大科学研究计划”专家委员会成员、江苏省物理学会副理事长、国际非晶纳米晶半导体会议国际顾问委员会委员。研究领域:纳米半导体材料、纳米量子电子学、纳米光电子学。已发表论文200余篇,著作一本。研究成果“实现硅量子材料可见光致发光的新方法”等先后获国家教育部和江苏省科技进步一等、二等奖4项及国家发明专利10项。 “有序可控硅基量子结构的构筑原理与光电子特性” 获2003年度国家自然科学奖二等奖。            

 

 

C. C. Yang (�志忠) received his BS degree in 1976 from the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taipei, MS (1981) and Ph.D. (1984) degrees also in electrical engineering from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Before he joined the Graduate Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, National Taiwan University, as a full professor in 1993, he has been being a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering, The Pennsylvania State University. During the period from August 2001 to July 2007, he served as the Chairman of the Institute of Photonics and Optoelectronics, National Taiwan University. His research areas include the MOCVD growth of nitride compounds, MBE growth of nitride and oxide semiconductor nanostructures, white-light light-emitting diodes for solid-state lighting and display, surface plasmonics, and biophotonics (optical coherence tomography). He has published more than 240 journal papers and about 500 international conference papers, including over 60 invited talks. Professor Yang is a fellow of the Optical Society of America
